ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This object belonged to my great uncle Hubie. I found it in an old cedar chest, of his, that I inherited about 35 years ago.
It's a small upholstery or clothes brush, branded with the Shell Oil logo. It was a Shell advertising, promotional give-away from Shell gas stations.
The wooden portion, of the brush, measures about 5" long, 3/4" wide and 1/4" thick. Including the bristles it measures about 2" wide. The bristles are made from some multi-colored, natural material that I can't identify. It's a nice little collectible that I believe dates to around the 1920's-1930's.
The condition is very-good but please use the photos to judge for yourself.
