    Offered for your consideration is one (1) vintage
    Cerwin-Vega
    1 inch phenolic dome horn-loaded tweeter
    , USA-manufactured c.1973.  This early, heavy magnet Cerwin-Vega horn tweeter is the coveted Dhorm produced by noted industry supplier Heppner.  They were only used in large C-V speakers for several years.  Klipsch began to use them in a few models in the early 1980’s as well.
    So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this hard-to-find, superb Heppner for Cerwin-Vega high frequency driver is correct for your needs.
    This Cerwin-Vega tweeter is in clean, excellent condition. The flat black-enameled steel faceplate/horn has no dents or noteworthy scratches, just some light scuffs from the years as pictured.  Plus, the phenolic resin dome radiating surface is dent-free perfect.   And, the +/- terminals measure the standard .205”, are marked for polarity (red dot side is positive), and have never been soldered on the spades.  Overall, this is a very well-preserved Dhorm tweeter.
    Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds very strong and clear with excellent high frequency detail to its impressive
    25kHz
    -rated upper limit.  Plus, I tested its DC resistance tested at 7.9Ω, right in line with a nominal 8 ohm driver rating.  Lastly, the flange measures 3 7/16” square, it stand 1⅞” tall, and the mount holes are spaced 2⅝” adjacent / 3¾” on the diagonal apart, c-t-c.
    As pictured and described, this superb Cerwin-Vega horn-loaded phenolic dome tweeter is offered at a competitive price.
