    Description

This is a Vintage Art Deco Poker Chip Rack with 115 Jockey Design Clay Chips.
I believe these chips and the racks are both of the Art Deco era, circa 1930s - 1940s, but I do not know specifically if these chips are original to the rack or not.  The rack is designed to hold 200 chips.  The jockey design was very popular during that time, and you are quite likely to be able to find either a box of 100 or perhaps an odd lot large enough to complete a set.
The rack has a great classic Art Deco look, with bullet shaped, streamlined body, and Art Deco detailing in the streamlined handle, and the footing for the two card deck slots, one of which is shown in a closeup, end view.  I performed two tests on the rack and it is not bakelite.  The maximum dimensions are 11 1/2 x 4 1/4" x 4" high (not including the handle).  The maker's logo beneath the handle has an image in relief of a knight in armor overlaid with a large letter V.  The rack has two wells, one at each end for playing card decks.
The number of chips present are:
    Cream / White 69
    Blue 36
    Red 10
There is a significant variation in the color and patina of many of the chips, and some apparent slight variation in thickness as well.  That may suggest that the chips may come from two or more sets; I cannot say for sure.  One of the photos shows 10 chips on our jewelry scale at a weight of 51.2 grams, so the nominal average weight of each chip averages about 5.1 grams.
In addition to the chips and rack, we are including two decks of mint sealed poker playing cards.  The cards are an advertising premium for the Chinese Xianmen Airlines, purchased from an estate.  Since the airline was founded in 1984 and the airline no longer bears this name (it is not XiamenAir), the cards could possibly be vintage, but that is probably of little consequence either way.  I did think it was unusual for these cards to be poker size since, in my experience, airline give-away advertising cards are most often bridge sized.
    Condition
    Chips
In looking through the chips I found one with an apparent cigarette burn, shown in a photo of the chip faces marked with an arrow.  The chips are otherwise in generally good used condition, but there are a few small marks.  There is quite a bit of color variation on some of the chips as seen on both the photo with some chips laid out and also from the edge view where the chips are in the rack  I did not individually inspect each chip, but I think the chips shown laid out are pretty representative of the overall condition of the set.  You may wish to give the chips a very careful cleaning.  If so, I would try gently wiping one chip with a barely damp cloth first to see if there is any effect on the color.  I once made the mistake of running some clay chips through the dishwasher and I ruined them.  The chips are dyed, and in that case, most of the color bled out.  Similarly, I would avoid detergents or cleaners.  You might want research cleaning the chips online as well.
    Rack
The rack is in excellent condition.  There appears to have been some red coloration on the maker's emblem that is heavily worn leaving a slight red patina, mainly around the edge.
    Cards
The cards are mint / sealed in their original cellophane factory wrappers.
