    Offered for your consideration is an
    ADVENT
    part number 99-20480
    5¼ inch mid/bass woofer
    removed from my
    ADVENT
    Audio Cinema
    center channel speaker, manufactured c.1993.  It was possibly used in other period ADVENT speakers, but buyer is responsible for determining compatibility with their needs.
    So, please see the large photos that I’ve taken and read the remaining description to decide if this outstanding mid-woofer should be yours.

    Although the listing is written in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) identical ADVENT 5¼” woofers are available at the time of this writing.  Please choose if you’d like to buy one or both in the quantity field at the top of the listing.  The shipping cost will be automatically calculated by eBay checkout

    This ADVENT woofer is in clean, excellent condition.  The sturdy paper cone is flawless and so is the voice coil dustcap.  Plus, the anodized steel basket has no dings and the magnet shielding cover looks great as well.  And, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades.  Overall, this driver is very nicely preserved.
    More importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds perfect—strong output with clear, fast midrange and good low-end for the platform size.  Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 4.0-4.1Ω, right in line with a nominal 4 ohm driver rating.  Lastly, the basket measures 5⅛” across (6⅜” from corners), it stands 3” tall, and the mount holes are spaced 4 1/16” adjacent / 5¾” diagonal apart, c-t-c.
    As pictured and described, this capable ADVENT 5¼” mid-woofer is offered at a competitive price.
