Blocker Specs:
The PVE 2019 blocker is built off of the base of the VE8 blocker, however there are new updates to the palm and sidewall. First, the board is based off of the VE8 to give the goalie a lighter, balanced feel on the back of the hand. Taken from the SLR2 palm, the PVE 2019 palm has a wraparound style trigger finger on the index finger. This new addition allows for the goaltender to get a better anatomical style grip on the palm, without the worry of the stitching catching against the stick. This new feature will give greater durability over time.
Due to the full bindingless face, the PVE 2019 blocker has a very large presentation to the shooter. The HD board on the inside of the blocker helps create high velocity rebounds that shoot off the blocker and in to controlled areas. The sidewall is now reinforced with an HD foam thumb rail to provide extra protection and provide better coverage when sealing the body in the butterfly.
