OK these hats were from the original Broadway production for the show "The Color Purple" and really I don't believe have anything to actually do with Prince. Since my heart was broken in April I have been wearing one of these nonstop in tribute. A not so subtle homage to his Royal Purpleness! It is also my understanding that the current Broadway cast did pay their respects during a recent performance.
