Description
Open for bidding is my Sper Scientific Illuminance Meter. It has very little use and is in good operating condition. It will measure foot-candles or lux.
This meter measures from 10,000 foot-candles to as low as 1/100 foot-candle or 1/10 lux respectively. It comes in the original case with an opaque cap for the sensor and the operators manual. A standard 9 volt battery is included so you can start using this meter out of the box.
Typical applications are the measuring of brightness of illuminated areas, surfaces, and objects. This meter can be used to quantify horizontal and vertical foot-candles for illuminated areas like work areas, sidewalks, roadways, parking lots and loading areas, sports fields, working surfaces, etc. It can also be used to quantify the amount of vertical illuminance for floodlighting or direct illumination that spills beyond property boundaries. It can also be used by gardeners and landscapers to determine brightness of ideal areas for plants growing in bright or shaded areas.

Shipping
Items ship within 3 business days after cleared payment and next day when possible. To reduce shipping costs I recycle materials when possible. Depending on circumstances, your items may ship as early as the same buisness day M-F 8AM - 4 PM EST. Multiple auction wins may qualify for a shipping discount when paid on a combined invoice, providing all items can be packed safely in one box. Tracking number is provided to eBay when available. Shipping charges cover all costs to process your order. Auctions ending with winning bids of US include insurance against loss or damage in transit at no cost to you.
Please note:  EBay eliminated the First Class Mail option for shipping envelopes and small packages, and in return the system forces sellers to ship these items by First Class Package at three times the cost in order to get tracing numbers, so items that can ship in envelopes will be sent with postage stamps via US Mail and no tracking number will be provided.
