SPECTRA ILLUMINATION METER - Model F 200 with Accessories

I purchased this Spectra Illumination Meter Model FC 200 in the late 1960’s and used it for about thirty years before shelving it. It has seen only occasional use and checking since then. This infrequent use has resulted in an appearance that belies it’s 50 year age. About three years ago, I compared it to two newer meters and they all read the same. I currently have no way to check its accuracy. I do not recall when the batteries were last replaced, but as shown in the photo, the battery test indicates that they are still strong. Readings can be made on all ranges and every thing seems to work as it should. However because of it’s age, no accuracy check, and unknown battery life, this meter is being sold “as-is”. The closed case measures 11”x8”x4”. This is a very usable piece of history and/or a unique display piece.
