4. If necessary, trim the dog’s hair or use the longer probes to ensure proper skin contact

How to Test the Collar:
We test every collar we sell from now on. But sometimes it gets damage during the mishandling and shipping, or the defective collar may not be found during testing utill the customer use it. Therefore, we need your help to test the item when you receive it. We appreciate your help.
1. Unpacking the package, you will find three units, the collar, a battery and a light bulb. (for testing)
2. Put the battery in the collar to power it up. Please notice the red light on the side of the collar isn't on. In this step, you need to pay attention to the battery position. Make sure the battery positive terminal (+) to the positive (+), while the negative (-) to the spring
3. Adjust the wheel, which is on the side of the collar along with a volume, to the maxmium end for testing. The wheel is used for adjusting the current and shock for different size of dogs
4. Now you may test the collar by blowing to the collar. The collar beeps for 3 times and the red light is on. First time it beeps for 5 sec, second time 8 sec, third time 10 sec. The beeping sound is a warning for dogs. Dog hates beeping
5. After beeping three times, the collar let the real electric shock comes. Blow to the collar for the fourth time, take the light bulb to test the current. The light is on, you will hear the sound of current too
Getting started:
Place the collar around your dog's neck and adjust the collar length using the slide buckle arrangement provided with the strap. The collar should fit snugly underneath your dog's neck. Make sure that the electrodes are in direct contact with your dog skin. Hair between the shock effect. If necessary it is advisable to clip or shave your dog's fur under the neck to insure direct contact. Effective on a 5-150 pounds dog and up to 12" neck. The Bark Terminator is a battery operated so it will need a 6 volt battery size 2/3 AA.
Operating Instructions:
Use of your new Bark Terminator.Is almost completely automatic,There no electronic controls to adjust or fiddle with.Just install a 6 volt alkaline battery,adjust the strap to the size of your dog's neck and the bark terminator automatically begins doing its job. There are two small loom intermediate switch,is used to adjust the sensitivity of the voicecontrol,and every time there will be "B" out of tone,sensitivity will gradually be enhanced or strongest when or the weakest
