Description
Original Nash enamel shield style radiator badge emblem insignia nameplate logo. The Nash was built from 1917 to 1957 in Kenosha, WI. This trademark was first used in 1928 and online research indicates this type of emblem was used from 1928 to 1931 but I do not know exact year, model, or application for this example. Badges like these were made using the champleve or guilloche process of heat bonding melted glass to a copper base which was then plated. 1 1/2" wide by 2 7/16" high, black and white enamel with gold plating. Makers mark "ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO" on back. Good used condition with no dents, bends or cracks, some scratches and heavy surface wear. Almost all enamel is intact but has many scratches and worn texture. The original plating is heavily worn and patinated, both mounting studs and nuts are intact and useable. Great for your collection, use as is on a driver, or easily restored. U.S. buyers will pay .50 First Class shipping, International shipping cost will vary based on location. NO RESERVE.
