    DESCRIPTION: Vintage Script for a play in one act, the Severed Cord by Maxine Finsterwald, was a winner of one of the prices at the National Little Theatre Tournament in 1929.  Three persons in the play.  The Severed Cord was presented by the Sunnyside Playhouse of Sunnyside, Long Island, New York, in the National Little theatre Tournament of 1929 at the Waldorf Theatre, where there presentation won one of the prizes.   Cast was as follows: Anna: Helen Cross, Karl: Robert Sangster, Jake: Frank Sangster.
