Lot of 4 Vintage Shell Oil maps-Italy, France and Germany-1956 to 1970.Will ship via USPS First Class.
This is a great lot of 4 Vintage Shell Oil travel maps for Europe! They range in age from 1956 to 1970 and are in varying degrees of condition.
There are 2 from 1970 for West and Southwest Germany (Deutschland). These are in great condition, and have no tears or markings, except that someone wrote 1970 on the front of each.
There is also a map for France, and it is dated 1964/1965 on the front. There is a very small tear on one of the folds (about 1/4 inch) but otherwise no markings or tears. A very cool feature of this map, is that on the back, they've provided a variety of translations for common phrases or questions that a traveler might ask! Everything from ordering at a restaurant, to dealing with a hotel reservation, to numbers, and of course, questions you might have at a service station!
The 4th map in this lot is the oldest...someone wrote 1956 on the front. It is a map of Italy (Italia). It is also printed inside as a 1956 map, and is in booklet form. It is in very good condition, with no marks or tears. The front is stamped with a Shell station's name in Rome (Roma).
This is a great lot of Shell Oil map memorabilia, and is perfect for the collector or travel enthusiast!
