part #K-1092-SB
6½ inch injection-molded graphite cone woofer
removed from my Klipsch SB-2 speakers, manufactured c.1999.  This capable mid/bass driver is likely suitable for other Klipsch speakers from the era, but the buyer is responsible for making that determination.

This Klipsch woofer is in clean, excellent condition.  The sturdy IMG cone is perfect and the voice coil dustcap is dimple-free flawless.  Plus, the surround is
permanent
butyl rubber instead of the fragile foam many other makes were still using.  Also, the rigid polymer basket is in great shape with no dings or chips and the magnet, with secondary “bucking” magnet for video-shielding, is free of oxidation.  And, the +/- terminals are keyed for polarity (larger side = positive) and have never been soldered on the spades.  Overall, this Klipsch driver looks practically new!
Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds great with strong output, clear, fast mid-frequencies, and solid low end output.  Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 3.5Ω consistent with a 4 ohm nominal driver rating.  Lastly, the basket measures 6¼” wide (7⅛” from the rounded corners), it stands about 4” tall (incl. surround roll), and the mounting holes are spaced 4 11/16” adjacent / 6⅝” diagonal apart, c-t-c.
So, as pictured and described, this exceptional Klipsch 6½” woofer is offered at a competitive price.
