Garmin has given an upgrade to the popular Tri-Tronics Sport Basic G3. The compact, lightweight Garmin Sport Pro Transmitter allows for simple one-hand operation of buttons.  The stim dial clicks so you know you are giving the proper correction without even looking at the transmitter.  There is no LCD screen on the Garmin Sport PRO either.  This lets you keep your eyes where they belong-on the dog.  There's a built-in barklimiter and beacon lights on the collar both controlled from the handheld transmitter. No need to fiddle with settings on the collar.  A color coded toggle switch on the transmitter lets you easily train up to 3 dogs.  Choose between ten (10) static correction levels (momentary or continuous) plus tone and vibrate corrections based on each dogs temperament.  All the features can be accessed with just four buttons and the stim dial.
The collar is weather resistant and durable, made with  typical outdoor activities in mind. It is also submersible and waterproof (1ATM).   The collar and handheld transmitter are powered by long lasting (3-5 years) rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which are easy to replace.  The collar strap on the Sport PRO is designed for a comfortable fit; it is adjustable and includes long and short contact points.  The Garmin Sport PRO will work on all kinds of dog breeds and temperaments regardless of size and coat thickness.
With a range of up to 3/4 of a mile it's a good choice for obedience training and close hunting situations.
