Smart and subtle changes in the Garmin PRO 550 make this a great choice in remote training systems. Like its predecessors the Tri-Tronics Pro 100/200/500, the Garmin PRO 550 allows for simple one hand operation of the handheld transmitter. No changes have been made to the design, look and feel of the PRO 550 transmitter. It is easy as ever to manage collars and stimulation levels on the handheld transmitter.
The PRO 550 has replaceable lithium batteries in the dog device receiver collar and the handheld transmitter that are quick charging and lighter. The dog device receiver collar has a beacon light that is visible from 100 yards and is controlled by the transmitter. The receiver collar is also a smidge smaller and lighter with a 3/4 inch strap and metal buckles designed for security and comfort. When not being used for training the receiver collar can be used as a bark collar. The simple push of a button on the collar gives you Garmin's BarkLimiter Auto-rise technology.
