Tips:
This bark collar activates when it senses or hears your dog bark. Depending on how loud your dog barks, you would have to try each of the 7 levels of sensitivity and adjust as needed depending on how often you want the unit to activate. Keep in mind that not all barks are created equal and you would have to adjust the settings accordingly depending on how loud your dog barks.
Unit not working when the dog barks:
Set the level up (+) Button at the highest level and lower incrementally by pressing the (-) button until the unit activates to your preference.
Unit activating all the time:
Set the level down (-) Button at the lowest level and raise incrementally by pressing the (+) button until the unit activates to your preference.
Vibration does not phase dog:
Make sure that the collar is snug on your dog’s neck so it can sense the vibration when it activates. If the collar is dangling around, the dog can only hear the sound and might not feel the vibration.
