EVA LE GALLIENNE Vintage Original Photo 1930s "PETER PAN" CIVIC REPERTORY Rare

Description

Selling is a 8" X 10" Vintage Original Semi-Glossy, Double-Weight Photo with borders of EVA LE GALLIENNE from the early 1930s theatre production of "PETER PAN" at the CIVIC REPERTORY THEATRE, NEW YORK CITY.  LeGALLIENNE was the manager of the theatre from 1926 to 1936.  The theatre started doing PETER PAN productions in the latter 1920's and continued with them  until the closing in 1936.  LeGALLIENNE always played the lead in "PETER PAN".  It was common the production was performed as a Saturday matinee and they did "PETER PAN" 129 times during this timeframe.  I would estimate this photo is from the early 1930's.  It is very difficult to find photo portraits like this one of EVA LEGALLIENNE as "PETER PAN" and is highly collectible.
On the back of the photo is a stamp for Culver Pictures (See Scan).  In pencil, there is information confirming that this photo was taken at the Civic Repertory Theatre for a Saturday matinee of "PETER PAN" on November 2nd.
Photo is in Very Good Condition with minimal handling wear.  There is one small tear in the right side border, near the middle.  There is some light edgewear in the corners. Superb Resolution and Focus.
