This listing is for a pre-owned electric Horcher Barrier Free Lift with track, new batteries, and accessories. This operates on 120 volt household electricity.
The equipment is professional grade; often used in hospitals and inpatient facilities.
The equipment is ideal for someone who is looking for an easier way to move a person with physical disabilities around a room, particularly between a wheelchair and furniture. After using this equipment a few times, you will quickly realize how it makes life easier and more comfortable for all parties involved. Capacity is 600 lbs. Made in Germany.
The previous owner had the equipment maintained regularly by a manufacturer representative and, to the best that the seller can determine, is in great working condition. See the below for more information about how the equipment was tested/inspected by the seller.

ARRANGEMENT OF TRACK
See the Track Diagram and sample picture for an example of a transversal track arrangement (H shape).
The two standard pieces of track are placed on the ceiling parallel to each other and approximately 8 ft apart. Inside each piece of standard track there are rollers that move the length of the track. The rollers are then attached to the ends of the reinforced piece of track, which allows the reinforced track to move from one end of the standard track to the other. The ceiling lift is installed inside the reinforced piece of track and moves along the length of the reinforced track. The total arrangement allows a person to move the lift anywhere inside an 8' x 6' area. This allows you to move a person around a room quickly and efficiently, which allows you to overcome many day to day obstacles. Note that lift only provides motorized movement in the vertical direction.
