I used this for walk training for me wolf/shepherd, and only used it for a month maybe. I was hesitant at first as it didn’t want to shock my dog so I tried it on my hand , and it’s not painful or scary. The first step is a beep control, then if the dog doesn’t stop use the vibration, then shock. I used the shock function maybe 2x , and the whole system for a month or so.
