that was original equipment in my SR-8040BP bipolar surround speakers, USA-manufactured c.2010.  This is the same tweeter

used in the larger SR-8080BP and possibly other speakers from that production time as well.  Buyer is responsible for assessing its suitability for any other model applications.

This
Definitive
tweeter is in clean, excellent condition.  The metal alloy dome is flawless having been well-protected behind the acoustically-transparent grate or wave-guide.  Plus, the faceplate has no scratches or cracks and the magnet also looks great.  And, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity (red dot = pos) and have never been soldered on the spades.  Overall, this tweeter is in superb shape.
Most importantly, it’s been fully tested sounds outstanding with fast, detailed upper midrange and spectacular highs.
Definitive
rates these speakers to 30kHz, which is an impressive upper limit for the tweeter.    Plus, I tested the DC resistance at 5.9-6.0Ω, consistent with a nominal 6 ohm driver rating.  Lastly, the faceplate measures 4” wide x 3” tall, it stands 1 1/16” tall, and the mount holes are spaced 2½” apart / 3½” on the diagonal, c-t-c.
