IT WAS TESTED AND IT IS IN PROPER WORKING ORDER.

LAST TIME WAS CALIBRATED IN 2009
When held at arm's length in a comfortable reading position, the angled silicon light sensor is automatically positioned horizontally and allows simultaneous measurement and readout without interference from the operator.

he silicon photodiode with photopic and cosine correction assures precise illuminance measurements from the lightsource or towards the object or area being illuminated.

Calibration:
Calibrations and recalibrations are performed by COOKE and are
traceable to NIST Standards. The photopic response of the calibrated
sensor matches the CIE standard observer curve response to within 1%
of the reading when using a standard tungsten source at 2856°K
