Collectable Kessler Whiskey Bottle Display Advertisement Pot Metal

This auction is for a Kessler Whiskey Bottle (Lawrenceburg Ind) that I believe is a advertisement / display piece.  I also believe it is made of some type of metal, maybe a  pot metal  If you look at the photos of the backside you can see some corrosion.  Which is fairly common with pot metal. I see very little corrosion on the front of the bottle.  Not sure how this bottle was mounted on this block of wood because I do not see an attachment from the bottom of the wood piece.
I have looked high and low for any info I could find on this piece.  I find nothing like it anywhere on the Internet.
The bottle itself measures approximately 11" high  and the wood base is approximately 2.5" high.
On the backside of the bottle there is some wording that says something like "Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of this Bottle"  and also "4/5 quart".   It is very hard to read because the printing in the mold is not the best.
