    We offer an original 1833 stipple engraving of the legendary Shakespearian actor Charles Kean, son of Edward Kean, by H. Inman, published by I. Tayleure of London and printed by G. E. Madeley July 12, 1833.  the engraving measures 7.5" x 9.75" in an inset mount, the verso can be seen.
    Kean (1811-1868) was one of the leading Shakespearian actors of his time and also an impresario.  He made an American tour, as well as a world tour.
