Rare, fascianting, important, antique 1860 New York City Theater archive of paper, related to J.S. Gautier. The archive has several original handdrawn artworks related to plays, I believe drawn by J.S. Gautier, and handwritten notes and plays, done for a New York City theater. One is titled Lammermoor Sociable, and has a January 25, 1860 Order of Tableaux, another sheet has a handwritten Order of Tableaux, dated Nov 9th, 1859, and also many handwritten sheets related to plays and so forth, and a small book with many handwritten notes inside, related to J.S. Gautier and his plays. There are 17 loose sheets and then the small leather book, dated 1860, signed by J.S. Gautier, titled Minnehaha Sociable, and has 56 handwritten pages, all related to various plays and so forth put on. The photos dont show everything with the sheets unfolded and so foth.
