    Description

Hello, up for sale is my beautiful 2007 Triumph Thruxton 900 in Caspian blue. I bought this bike brand new in San Francisco at Munroe motors, and rode it home from there. It's been a great bike to ride, and a lot of fun to modify to my liking. A true one-owner bike and never dropped or in any accidents.
If you look at the list of improvements I've made slowly over the time I've owned it they actually come to just under 00. The firm asking price of 00 is really quite reasonable compared to other plain-Jane Thruxtons or Bonnies for sale, plus you get all the cool custom mods for free!
The Thruxton is the sportier version of the "new Bonneville" twins. It has a nice low seat height of only 33" to easily accomodate riders with legs that size. It's no real  lightweight, but it has a low center of gravity so it's easy to move around in the garage or parking. It's way less heavy-feeling than a 883 Sportster, and is just as powerful or more-so with about 72 hp on tap when you need it. The air-cooled 900 twins are anvil-reliable and leak-free. They also have modern electrics without any worries like the old English bikes from the 60's and 70's...truly like apples and oranges.
The engine is counter-balanced internally and is very smooth for a twin-cylinder.
The Thruxton is a one-size fits all bike and easily accommodates new and older riders of all sizes and levels of experience. It's not intimidating at all and is quite comfortable for all-day riding. The electric heated grips are a plus on colder mornings too. The retro styling is right on the money to look the style of the older Triumphs without the drawbacks of the old-school Triumphs, BSA's and Nortons.
It's just time to move on to other projects and the Thruxton needs to go to a new home where it can be enjoyed by a new owner. It's a very solid bike, good-looking, well-maintained and reliable. Let me know if you'd like to be the new owner, I'm in no huge hurry to sell, just looking for a serious bike enthusiast who won't waste time kicking tires or pulling a scam.
Let's try this vimeo link to a video: https://vimeo.com/945963778?share=copy
The bike is currently listed on Cycletrader, Motorcycle.com and on and off on ebay, so hopefully a lot more potential buyers can see it now.
I prefer to use the keysavvy.com escrow service for safe and secure transactions: www.keysavvy.com/pay/triumph-xhxfpm
I just checked the pink slip and it shows the model year as 2007, even though I bought it brand new in 2006.
Please, NO MORE scammers, and rip-off artists asking for a fake vehicle report. I'm onto that scam.
Thanks for looking, and if you want this true one of a kind modern classic, let me know!! https://youtu.be/f2LS2N_lXEk
