    Handsome fold-out Shell Oil Company road map of Kentucky and Tennessee, printed more than 50 years ago.
    This map opens to 18" x 31" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. There are inset plans of Lexington, Louisville, Nashville, Chattanooga, Memphis, Knoxville, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
    The map was distributed by the Shell Oil Company in 1963 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 9-KK. The cover photograph shows a horse farm near Lexington, Kentucky.
    Condition:
    This map is in very good condition, bright and clean, with no rips or tears. A previous owner has marked a route through Lexington, Elizabethtown, and Bowling Green.
